Genovesa Island
There is no doubt that Galapagos is a special place. To begin with, things here work in a different way. The animals behave with an unusual friendliness that strikes you from the very first day of the visit. By day number two, you are totally accustomed to that behavior! Sea lions, all kinds of birds and even the reptiles are totally oblivious to the presence of people, therefore it becomes a “must” to take a picture of each one of them.
Today our visit was focused in one of the most pristine islands in the Galapagos, Genovesa. After our walk to see our major highlight, red-footed boobies, the white sandy beach looked very inviting, and most of us headed towards it to lay on it and to enjoy the relaxing sounds coming from the ocean and the birds flying over.
