Bartolome & Santiago Islands

A stunning clear blue sky and the brightly shining sun provided us with ideal conditions to enjoy this day in the central part of the archipelago. From breathtaking volcanic landscapes and pristine beaches, to great wildlife sightings, today fulfilled even the most demanding expectations. Colors and their contrasts and combinations were a visual delight. Sally light-foot crabs were good examples of the marvelous contrast produced by their bright red color with the black lava surroundings.

A trip to the Galápagos Islands can be a life-changing experience. After being here for a week, the natural world can be seen in a very different way. If you like the wilderness, after a visit the Galápagos, you will love it! If you already love the natural world, from now on you will feel that you have been living inside a dream. This week everything was practically perfect: the weather, the landscapes and settings and the island’s inhabitants. The group of guests that are on board with us this week do not want to leave. As we often have said: “You are leaving the Galápagos, but the Galápagos will never leave you.”
