We had a great start to our voyage today. We started with humpback whales in Chatham Strait and then continued into Kelp Bay. Deep in the bay, we found a bear, played in the intertidal zone, walked through wildflowers, and watched harbor seals from kayaks. We even beat the rain, as it did not start until everyone was back onboard.
