    Allison has traveled around the world for work and play, loves the outdoors, learning new things, eating good food, and practicing yoga.  She is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Yoga Instructor, and Certified Health Coach.  She draws on her background in wellness and hospitality to find ways to explore the world, connect to people, practice the healing arts, and grow.

  • Ana Sofia Guerra

    Undersea Specialist
    Ana was born in Monterrey, Mexico, very far away from the ocean. Eleven years later, she was living in São Paulo, Brazil and, through a local sea turtle NGO, she discovered a passion for the marine world and got certified as a PADI Junior Open Water Diver at age 12. After completing high school in Mexico City, Ana moved to California to attend Stanford University. Ana obtained a degree in Biology through Stanford University and she actively sought out opportunities to do her work by or in the water. After graduating, Ana was selected as the North American Rolex Scholar of the Our World-Underwater Scholarship Society. This unique diving scholarship allowed Ana to travel across the Americas, the South Pacific and Australia, where she immersed herself in variety of fields, from photography and dive guiding to marine science.

    Wellness Specialist
    Catherine began her journey in the wellness field in 2011. She grew up in the Midwest and went on to study massage and esthiology with The Aveda Institute of Minneapolis, craniosacral therapy with the Upledger Institute, and then travel the world, learning from the best teachers in yoga, reiki, and meditation. She’s combined her love for wellness, travel, and the outdoors to help her clients across the globe. Catherine’s intention as a massage therapist and yoga instructor is to find a noninvasive way for the body to enter its natural healing state.

    An educator at heart, Dan finds great joy in helping others explore and connect with the world around them. He has taught marine sciences in the Florida Keys and on Catalina Island, and science and math in international schools in Mexico, Costa Rica, and the South Pacific.

    Expedition Leader
    Travel and adventure were an integral part of Doug’s upbringing in a small town on the south shore of Long Island, New York. Growing up on the Great South Bay, his family claims Doug learned to sail before he learned to walk. Whether it was camping, sailing, birding, traveling across country or spending most of fifth grade living in Europe, Doug’s formative years left him with a love of wildlife, the outdoors, and a desire to keep moving.

    Wellness Specialist
    Jessica was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest—from the high desert climate of eastern Washington, to the marine ocean climate of the Pacific Ocean. Jessica loves being a healer and has been a massage therapist for over 17 years. She received her education at BodyMind Academy in Bellevue, Washington and has trained extensively in all modalities of massage therapy, spa treatments, and health and wellness, including myo-facial release, EMDR, and somatic memory release. She enjoys helping people with their mind/body connection to pain and injury.

    Ralph is a freelance underwater and environmental photographer based in San Diego, California. Having grown up in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia, Ralph’s love of nature and the outdoors came at a young age. He holds a graduate degree in marine biodiversity and conservation from the Scripps Institution of Oceanography where he used the economic value of a surfing wave along with photography to stop the construction of a marina project that would have ruined a lagoon, a critical sea turtle nesting habitat, and a world-class surf break.

    Naturalist
    Growing up with a large backyard, Sarah spent her childhood exploring the woods and bringing home frogs. When asked not to bring frogs into the house, she learned the difference between frogs and toads and was soon asked not to bring toads into the house either. Raised just outside of Washington, DC, she considers herself lucky to have grown up with exposure to a combination of the outdoors and the city, as it helped her pick with certainty which one she wanted to spend all her time in - the outdoors.
